RICS Home Survey Level 3
A RICS Level 3 Home Survey, also known as a Building Survey, is a detailed inspection of a property's condition and construction. It is the highest level of Home Survey provided by the RICS.
Who it's for
This survey is recommended for large, older, or run-down properties, or if you're planning major works. It can also be a good choice for a newer property if you want an extra level of reassurance.
What it includes
The survey includes a visual inspection of the entire property, from the foundations to the roof, and a detailed report that describes the condition of each element. The report also includes advice on repairs, maintenance, and the consequences of leaving issues untreated.
What it doesn't include
The survey is not normally invasive, but parts of the home may need to be disturbed to do the job properly.

The report is presented in a clear, detailed manner, and will include photos and a Condition Rating system.
